SPD X Liversage Chute Knife

The iconic "Loveless" pattern Chute Knife as expertly hand made by Wesley Liversage for PDW. The "Chute Knife" pattern was created by internationally known and respected custom knife maker Bob Loveless with input and in collaboration with Harry Archer and Ken Warner. According to knife lore, Bob Loveless considered the Chute Knife a direct descendent of the American Bowie Knife, and was created to meet the various needs of CIA operatives in the field during the Vietnam War era. The Chute Knife needed to be compact, sturdy, capable for defense, bush craft, and when necessary, easily wieldable to cut oneself free from any fouled parachute rigging.
