The Danger Ranger Bear Scout Knife Reloaded. Our highly popular DRB Scout Knife returns with an updated tool selection making it more useful for backcountry and EDC than ever before. Each knife features classic OD Green linen micarta scales. Other exclusive features to our scout knife are the upgraded blade steel of the main blade to Swedish Damasteel RWL34™ (comparable to CPM154) and the replacement of the classic corkscrew with a far more useful Phillips driver. Our newest DRB Scout Knife RL features a total of 8 tools, making this one versatile and capable multi-bladed slipjoint. The addition of the wood saw makes this knife more bushcrafty in usability, and it even features a hobo fork for you know, just in case you want to eat that corned beef or baked beans once you've opened the can. After the closure of the Pennsylvanian knife making facility who made our first scout knives, it took a few years for PDW to find a worthy new partner. We are now working with Italian knife manufacturer Mercury Srl, based in historic Maniago ("City of Knives"), Italy.

The liner lock engages with a crisp, reassuring click every time I flip it open—exactly what I want for one-handed use on the trail. The micarta scales have already picked up a bit of natural wear, which honestly makes it feel more like a tool than a safe queen. It’s earned a permanent spot in my pa

The micarta handles feel rock solid in the palm, and the updated tool set on this folder is a genuine improvement for everyday carry. I’ve been using it daily for a week now for box cutting and trail snacks, and the blade locks up tight every time.
