The SPD Edition of the Terrain 365 Caiman Slipjoint is a modern, technical iteration of the classic Barlow pattern featuring an exclusive, rustproof, edge holding Terravantium™ blade. Like its animal namesake, this pocket knife is perfectly comfortable in the water or on land. Available with titanium liners and PDW exclusive OD Green linen micarta scales. The Barlow pattern is one of the most enduring classic slip joint models ever created. Its appeal is in its simplicity, pragmatism, and usability. We looked to this great classic to create our own modern version. The Caiman Slipjoint is an all around pocket knife for everyday carry, updated with technical, modern materials, precision machined parts, and a legacy design distilled down to its core characteristics that is utterly relevant today as it was when first introduced in 1670.

Customer Reviews (4.8 / 5 · 5 reviews)

Leo ★★★★★

The thumb stud placement is perfect for one-handed opening, and the slipjoint mechanism snaps shut with just the right amount of resistance. I've been carrying it daily for two weeks and the Terravantium edge is still shaving sharp—no rust spots despite my sweaty pockets.

Julian ★★★★★

The Terravantium edge has held up beautifully through a month of daily pocket carry, and I'm still amazed at how effortless the opening is for a slipjoint. It feels like a proper modern workhorse, rugged yet refined.

Benjamin ★★★★★

Carrying this thing for three weeks now and the slipjoint action is buttery smooth while still locking up rock solid. The rustproof Terravantium blade has held its edge through cardboard and zip ties without a single sign of wear.
